The National Cowgirl Museum & Hall of Fame- Fort Worth, Tx. 

Museum of the Horse Soldier - Tucson, Az.. One of the finest collections of original United States horse cavalry artifacts, equipment, and memorabilia. The displays and depictions in the museum represent the history of the mounted service from before the Civil War to the first years of World War II.
Also home to Arizona sculptor Dan Bates and his renowned "Cavalry Life in Bronze", a traveling national tour of US horse cavalry theme fine art bronze sculptures.Three thumbs up...very enjoyable!!!

Cheyenne Frontier Days" The Granddaddy of them all"Rodeo, concerts and rides , thats just for starters. Last full week in July.Book a hotel early if you plan to stay in Cheyenne during this time. Little America is an excellent choice.

Buffalo/Kaycee Wyoming Great area well worth the visit if you are in the mood for old west.

Trail Dust Town- Fun old west town in the heart of Tucson. Worth a visit. They also have one of the best steak and ribs places. 
 
Laramie River Ranch Jelm ,WY Historic dude ranch offering a wide range of activities. Available for weddings at the beginning and end of summer. 

Fiddleback Ranch Metesse, WY.... Real western rodeo fun and lodging well
worth the visit.

Little Creek Ranch/Rim Rock Adventures Atrue Colorado adventure, enjoy a guided hunt, see a rodeo, or go white water rafting, or horseback riding....and visit with the great white buffalo too!! One stop shopping for western adventure.
