Shipping Guide 2023

Cowboy Christmas "Free Shipping" Details:

Available on orders $79.00 and over that ship to continental USA only. You must choose the "free shipping" on checkout page, the cart will not automatically do this.  If you click on a particular carrier, the cart will charge for that service. The shipping carrier/service will be designated after your order has packed. You will be sent tracking confirmation email.
All products on the website (inc. sale items) count towards the 79.00 threshold with the exception of those in the "Unique Cowboy Christmas" category because those artist made and require special shipping / packing and often ship in their own box.

Feel good about your box

We reuse or recycle the boxes/packing that come to us with inventory. We do purchase recycled boxes.


Sending a gift?
All packages are sent with no-price packing list with the ship to information - your name will not appear. If you wish no slip at all or a gift card (free) please let us know via the order comments box or "Howdy" link located at bottom of pages.

In almost every order we ship out we wrap the contents in bubble wrap (if needed) and then in brown tissue paper and tie it up with string.  In case you are wondering, yes, this was inspired by the song.
I say "almost" because some things, due to size or shape just cannot be wrapped, such as wreaths.  Often, items are group wrapped together to conserve space and offer better protection in transit.
This is free and we get a lot of Thank You notes from folks who say that this simple touch is adorable.



Packing & Tracking
When possible we do try to pack the same day as the order was placed, especially during December, but please allow a day for packing just in case. If your order is placed on a Sunday, holiday or is extra large (wreath or Santa) please allow 2 days.

When a label is printed for your box, you will get an auto generated notice with the tracking information. The tracking will not update until the carrier scans the package at their processing facility. So don't worry if you get a tracking number on Sunday but get little information when you click on the link - changes may not show up until the next evening.

Starting December 2021
We are no longer shipping ribbon on the original spools. We do this because shipping cost have gone way UP this year so we are trying to lower them wherever possible. The ribbon remains the same length and will be neatly folded.

 Currently we ship directly only to the US, AU, NZ & Canada. Any other country will need to use a shopping service such as Bongo or International Checkout (see International Orders page).

Carrier Options

We offer delivery services from USPS & UPS - For lighter packages (under 1 lb) USPS is usually the most economical but that can vary depending on your location. 

We have stopped using FedEx.  Their inflated rates and profound lack of of even a shred of customer service have led to this decision.

Hint: For heavier boxes- If you have a business address it is usually cheaper to use that with UPS than Priority Mail.

1st Class ( USPS did away with 1st class in 2023.  It is now called USPS "Ground Advantage")


Packages 15.9 oz and under (usually 1 - 3 ornaments or stockings)
1-5 business days.

Over 1 pound it is rounded up by the pound example - If the actual weight of the package is 1lb 5oz the USPS charges for 2lbs.

Priority Mail
Any size up to 70lbs
1-3 business days.

Please note- with all carriers, the listed services do not have guaranteed dates. Almost all the time packages are delivered as shown as quoted but weather and other factors can delay deliveries. Please factor in an extra day just in case.
